Peace and Justice Committee collects 40 holiday meals

Deacon Anthony Budnick with 40 holiday food boxesSeminarians from the Peace and Justice Committee collected 40 holiday food boxes from the Sacred Heart School of Theology community, to feed the poor in the greater Milwaukee area. The boxes of food, each with enough to feed a family of five, will be distributed by the Capuchins’ House of Peace and St. Ben’s Community Meal.

The collection of holiday food boxes is one of the many projects the Peace and Justice Committee does throughout the year.

Helping coordinate the food drive was Deacon Anthony Budnick (left), a member of the Peace and Justice Committee, who will graduate this coming May. He will be ordained to the priesthood and begin serving in parish ministry within the Diocese of Knoxville shortly thereafter.
