Welcome to the Sacred Heart School of Theology Web site. Here you will discover this seminary's unique and important mission, that of preparing adult, mature candidates for Roman Catholic priesthood. Each individual has a different vocation story. Their educational backgrounds, life and work experiences differ, but all have the same goal – to become priests and leaders of the Church.They come from dioceses throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and many other countries. They come to answer God's call, and Sacred Heart provides them with that opportunity. Our goal is the preparation of educated, virtuous and zealous priests through spiritual, human, intellectual and pastoral formation that meets the needs of today's diverse church.
While this is our primary mission, we also are committed to preparation of the laity for service to the Church and God's people through our Master of Arts program.
