Sacred Heart School of Theology, a leading Catholic seminary focused on the priestly formation of men of all ages, is seeking a new president-rector. In accord with the seminary’s established succession plan, the position is available after July 1, 2012.
The new president-rector will succeed the Very Rev. Jan de Jong, SCJ, S.T.D., who is retiring. The president-rector will oversee all activities, programs and policies of the 79-year-old seminary, and will execute its ongoing strategic plan.
The position represents an outstanding opportunity for a proven academic administrator and spiritual leader to serve the Church and her people by bringing leadership, vision and a pastoral heart to Sacred Heart School of Theology.

Candidacy process
The President-Rector Search Committee will begin a review of applications immediately and continue work until an appointment is made. To assure full consideration, applications should include a letter of interest, curriculum vitae and five professional references with e-mail addresses and telephone numbers.
