Sacred Heart School of Theology is a seminary owned and operated as an apostolate of the U.S. Province of the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which works with diocesan priests, men and women religious and laity in the seminary's mission. Sacred Heart School of Theology Seminary's primary purpose is the preparation of men of mature years and experience for Roman Catholic priesthood, both diocesan and religious, in accordance with the National Conference of Catholic Bishops' Program of Priestly Formation, and other related Church documents. Sacred Heart School of Theology also provides academic theological education for those in or preparing for other ministries in the Church and programs for those seeking personal faith enrichment. Sacred Heart School of Theology strives to be a community responsive to the presence of the Holy Spirit, to individual talents and needs, and to challenges facing the Church and society, especially issues of justice and peace.

About Us - Sacred Heart School of Theology has a unique and important mission that began over 35 years ago in response to the need for a formation program for non-traditional age candidates for priesthood. Sabbatical - Sacred Heart School of Theology
 

Sacred Heart offers an individualized sabbatical program, which can be adapted to one’s specific time frame. Mentors are available. The seminary’s spiritual and academic resources are also available. These resources include daily Eucharist, Liturgy of the Hours, days of recollection, retreat opportunities on and off campus, Hispanic studies, continuing education workshops, lectures and an extensive theological library.Sacred Heart offers an individualized sabbatical program designed to enrich theological understanding and foster personal growth. The program can be adapted to an individual's specific time frame. Mentors are available. The seminary’s spiritual and academic resources are also available. These resources include daily Eucharist, Liturgy of the Hours, days of recollection, retreat opportunities on and off campus, Hispanic studies, continuing education workshops, independent study, lectures and an extensive theological library.

Milwaukee offers parks, golf courses, theater, ballet, symphony, opera, and art museums. Festivals and professional sporting events provide a variety of enjoyable activities.
